From sensorial concepts to sensational textures, Gattefossé goes to the heart of the matter; from perception to formulation, various criteria are assessed: Aspect, impression at the first touch (pick-up, creaminess…), impression during application (spread, tackiness, thickness…) and after absorption (residual feel, finish, after-feel…).

The panelists are trained to describe their sensory experiences using specific verbiage selected in previous training sessions, more detailed than those used by consumers, and more useful to our customers' formulation departments.
